Join our creative Skillsify team as a Graphic Designer Intern and embark on a journey to bring
innovative ideas to life through visual storytelling. This internship offers hands-on experience in
graphic design, brand identity development, and digital content creation. As a Graphic Designer
Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate on diverse projects, build your portfolio, and
refine your skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and creation of visual assets for various digital and print projects, including social media graphics, website banners, infographics, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the creative team to understand project requirements, objectives, and brand guidelines, and translate concepts into compelling visual designs.
- Use graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts that communicate key messages effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas, develop design concepts, and iterate on designs based on feedback from clients, stakeholders, and peers.
- Maintain consistency in design elements, typography, colors, and branding across all materials to ensure a cohesive and professional visual identity.
- Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in graphic design and visual communication, and incorporate new techniques and ideas into projects.
- Assist in organizing and managing design files, assets, and project documentation in a structured and accessible manner
- Support ad-hoc design tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong passion for graphic design, creativity, and visual storytelling, with a desire to build a career in the field.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects and creative work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with web design principles, UI/UX design, and motion graphics is a plus.
Duration:
- This is a 3 months internship position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
