Join our Skillsify digital marketing team as a PPC Intern and dive into the dynamic world of online
advertising. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing pay-per-click campaigns
across various platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media advertising. As a
PPC Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn key strategies, optimize campaign performance,
and contribute to driving results for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
- Conduct keyword research, ad copywriting, and ad group structuring to develop targeted and effective PPC campaigns that align with client objectives and budget allocations.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, including click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate (CVR), cost per click (CPC), and return on ad spend (ROAS), and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Perform A/B testing of ad creatives, landing pages, and audience targeting to identify top-performing strategies and improve campaign performance.
- Assist in the implementation of tracking mechanisms such as conversion tracking, event tracking, and UTM parameters to measure campaign effectiveness and attribution.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to integrate PPC campaigns with other marketing initiatives, such as SEO, content marketing, and email marketing, to maximize overall performance.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate campaign results, insights, and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support ad-hoc tasks and projects related to digital marketing and advertising as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.
- Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in PPC advertising, and apply new insights to improve campaign strategies and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong interest in digital marketing, particularly in pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and online advertising platforms.
- Basic understanding of PPC advertising principles, including keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, and campaign optimization.
- Familiarity with PPC advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting is desirable.
Duration:
- This is a 3 months internship position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
