Social Media and Content Writer Intern

Join our dynamic Skillsify team as a Social Media and Content Writer Intern and dive into the exciting
world of digital marketing. This internship offers hands-on experience in crafting engaging
content and managing social media platforms for diverse clients. You’ll work closely with our
experienced team, gaining valuable skills and insights in content creation, social media strategy,
and digital marketing.

Responsibilities:

Create compelling and high-quality content for various digital channels, including social media platforms, blogs, website copy, and email.
Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and audience growth across multiple platforms.
Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and conceptualize content ideas, campaigns, and promotions.
Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in social media and content marketing.
Schedule and publish content on social media platforms, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and brand messaging.
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze performance metrics and insights to track the effectiveness of content and social media campaigns, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Assist in the development of content calendars, editorial plans, and marketing strategies to support client objectives.
Stay informed about emerging social media trends, algorithm changes, and new tools or features to continually improve campaign performance.
Support ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or team lead.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (or recent graduate).
Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and error-free content for various platforms and audiences.
Knowledge of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling, branding, and content creation.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with social media management tools and content creation software is a plus
Basic understanding of SEO principles and Google Analytics is desirable. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
